When model-turned-agent Liz Bell decided to build a haven away from the bustle of B.C.'s fashion industry, she found her ideal spot embedded in nature, atop a rocky hill that overlooks Howe Sound. Using logs that washed up on the ocean shore nearby, Bell filled the home with wood accents and furnishings, creating a rustic aesthetic that reached new levels of coziness when she sprinkled the space with precious family antiques and heirlooms. And with large windows across the living room designed to frame the fjords in the distance like pictures, there's always something to stare at as you sit by the fireplace.
