Sleek and full of drama, this ultra-modern stunner off the Nova Scotia shore is anything but your average beach house. Affectionately named Treow Brycg (Old English for 'tree bridge') by owners Denise and Brian, the home seeks to capture "the primal nature of the environment in which it's located" by incorporating elements like a slate fireplace and gambrel roof. The open-concept space can appear quite stark and industrial at first, but its wood accents and oversized windows keep the interior feeling warm and filled with natural light. And while the home's steely exterior is built to withstand the worst winter elements, its luxe outdoor space still caters to the warmer weather with a plunge pool, lots of seating and a view of the serene oceanside. Check out the video below to peak inside Treow Brycg and take the full tour.
