Can you guess the female Canadian rock star before we tell you?
Pastry chef Lindsey Gazel turned a few of our faves into the cutest cookies, just in time for the JUNOs
While Drake and the Biebs may sometimes steal the spotlight, Canada just happens to be home to a ton of exceptionally talented songstresses. From Grammy-winning wunderkinds to the first Indigenous person to take home an Oscar, there's no shortage of badass women from across our country who've belted their way onto our playlists and into our hearts. To celebrate these legendary musicians ahead of this year's JUNO Awards, we asked Lindsey Gazel, pastry chef and owner of Lindsey Bakes, to transform a few of our faves into cookies. Check out the results below, and then tune into the JUNOs this Sunday, March 25 at 8 p.m. ET on CBC.
At this year's JUNOs, Shania Twain is up for the night's top honour, Album of the Year, Canadian Music Hall of Fame Inductee Buffy Sainte-Marie will be presenting, Alessia Cara is in the running for two awards, including Fan Choice, and while Céline Dion won't be making an appearance, she does hold the title for most nominations ever.
