Recipe: Edible Raw Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

You scream, I scream, we all scream for… cookie dough served in ice cream cones!

This edible cookie dough is super simple to make, and oh so delicious. Plus, it's egg-free and ready in minutes. Edible cookie dough seems to be everywhere right now — there are even cafes popping up dedicated to this trendy treat. You can make a batch of this at home... and you don't need to sneak some dough before it gets put in the oven. Serve it up in ice cream cones and it's the perfect snack! 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecan halves, chopped

Preparation

Spread flour on a large cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.

Add softened butter and brown sugar to a large bowl, and mix until combined. Add vanilla extract and milk, mix to combine. Add flour, salt, chocolate chips and pecan halves to the bowl and mix.

Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, portion dough into 1 ½ inch balls. Enjoy!
