It's swimsuit season! If those words make you break out into hives, you're not alone. But The Goods' fashion expert, Jessi Cruickshank, is all for embracing your body and absolutely owning it at the beach. If you're seeking little something extra after you don your new suit, she's styled some covetable and cute looks, inspired by celebs. These coverups are comfy, accessible, and they may even be hiding in the back of your closet already. Here are Jessi's top three styles to pair with your swimsuit — beachside, poolside or wherever you're seeking a little added coverage this summer.

If you're looking for: Added coverage up top

If you're larger on top and want to stay modest, Jessi recommends channeling your inner JLo and trying something like a light, airy printed wrap. They're comfortable, chic and flattering on every body type. If you are bustier, chances are the smallest part of your body is your waist, so a wrap with a waistband will help show off your shape. A V-neck is also going to allow you to control how much of the girls see the light of day.

With a look like this, the wrap gives enough coverage without covering you up entirely, while still being sexy and flowy. If you have a bigger bust, suits with halter tops or underwire and adjustable straps will help give you support. If you want to show a little skin, the keyhole in a suit like this one will give a peek of what you're working with. But watch out — swimwear has a tendency to stretch out when it gets wet and washed so the longer you own it, the more likely you'll need to tighten those straps.

If you're looking for: Added coverage for the midsection

If you're not in the mood to galavant around in a tiny two piece and you're looking for a little extra through the midsection, Jessi has a solution; channel your inner Beyoncé and opt for a sarong.

The sarong pictured here is just a spring scarf! Don't waste your money on the expensive resort wraps when other pieces will work just as well. You can even use an oversized men's shirt. It's easy, comfortable, cute and most importantly, inexpensive!

If your mid-section is something you're self-conscious about, one pieces are back! They are no longer reserved for seniors doing water aerobics and there are tons of suits out there that are chic, flattering and sexy. This one has ruching in the centre which Jessi says will help draw the eye inward and create the illusion of a smaller waist.

If you're looking for: Added coverage for the booty

If you're not one to walk down a crowded beach with a thong that provides very little coverage, try throwing on a good old pair of beat up jean shorts with a bathing suit on top, as seen on Kim Kardashian. She's not exactly sporting this look at the beach, but it would translate well to seaside or poolside!

A well-fitting denim short is key to pulling off this look. The shorts aren't skin tight Daisy Dukes; they are high waisted and snug at the waist but a little looser in the hip and thigh. Jessi says to think mom jean but more of a mom short. This short pairs perfectly with a one piece or two piece bathing suit, and it's incredibly comfortable.
