Why dad fashion is the next big trend

It's not about mom jeans and boyfriend shirts anymore! It's all about raiding dad's closet.

On today's show, Jessi walks us through the top three dad trends, which have already been seen on celebs like Jessica Alba, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence.

1. The dad hat
As seen on Kylie Jenner and Rihanna, look for a baseball cap with a logo and a wide brim and wear it with anything.

"It's the one he got at a conference 10 years ago and wears to play golf," says Jessi. "That is the hat of the season.

2. The dad jean
Move over high-waisted mom jeans! Jennifer Lawrence was recently spotted in dad jeans  during Paris Fashion Week, so you know it's a trend that is about to take off.

"A mom jean is high-waisted with a tapered leg," explains Jessi. "The dad jean has a mid-rise waist with a straight leg. The fit is a little bit looser, and they go great with a tucked-in, clean white button up." Look for a distressed, worn-in wash, "to make it look like dad had been wearing those jeans to the hardware store for years."

3. The dad sweatshirt
The most comfortable trend of the season, spotted on Jessica Alba, Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss and many more famous ladies.

"You can wear it as is with skinny jeans or dress it up a bit like with a collared shirt underneath," notes Jessi.
