If you're lucky enough to have vision care benefits, it's time to check if you have any funds left that have to be used in 2018. Many plans have December 31st as their expiry date — although benefits tend to be on a two-year eligibility cycle, meaning that you can use a certain dollar amount every 24 months — and you'll lose out on any unused funds once the coverage resets on January 1st.
