(UPDATED) Drake's new Toronto mansion will be the best he ever had
Drake's movin' on up to Toronto's North-East side.
Drizzy recently purchased a 6.7 million piece of land in Toronto's exclusive Bridle Path area. The land at 21 Park Lane Circle once housed a bungalow which was demolished to make way for Drake's lavish mansion.
Champagne Papi recently shared this photo of the construction progress on his Instagram page.
But the most interesting part of this build are the elements he's adding to the design. The home plans include an NBA-sized basketball court, jersey museum and awards room where he'll no doubt house his recent BRIT and Grammy Awards.
He also loves a good cocktail. There will be two bars near an extravagant indoor pool, and another one which will include an area for chilled wine and chilled champagne.
Also on the list: two saunas, massage room, hot tub, piano room, screening room and gym.
Drake is in good company - the Bridle Path has housed such celebrity residents including Prince, Robert Herjavec, Conrad Black and was even the home of Canadian Idol contestants while the show was airing in the early 2000s.
UPDATE June 29
Drake's designer and builder, Ferris Rafauli, posted the first look at the exterior of Drake's Toronto mansion as construction is underway. It was even shot by our very own Cody Bokshowan who is the creator of CBC Life's survival video series.
