2019 holiday fashion inspo from Canadian celebrities on Instagram

The Instagram halls are decked with holiday cheer right now and that includes some fabulous party outfits sported by Canadian stars.

I still can't get enough of all the party photos from Diddy's 50th birthday bash over the weekend. Everyone who attended was dripping with opulence and that included Canadian music legend Deborah Cox. Ms.Cox danced the night away in a high neck gold beaded Elie Madi dress. The sequin details and silk organza cape were all the things holiday party dreams are made of! 

Evangeline Lilly

The Ant-Man and the Wasp star hammed it up alongside stars like Retta at a recent gala. The event supported a non-profit working on a cure for Angelman syndrome. I'm still in awe of her recent buzz cut — she hasn't yet confirmed if it's for a role or not. The Lost alum wore a black and white striped belted skort with a shiny finish, and a black deep V top with sleeve cut-outs. She topped off the look with gold flat hoop earrings and a bold red lip. 

Anna Cathcart 

Can't wait to see this gem in the To all the boys… follow up. 16-year-old B.C. native Anna Cathcart looked all grown up at the Spies in Disguise premier. She sported a black one-shoulder bejeweled mini dress with a sheer sleeve and oxford flats. This could totally be a New Year's Eve outfit. Cathcart wore her brown tresses swept up in a wavy high pony with perfect tendrils. Agent Olympia from Odd Squad also had on her go-to metal round-rim glasses and a subtle peachy lip. 

The Weeknd

There's nothing heartless about this tux! As seen on his Insta stories, The Weeknd snapped a few shots by a Christmas tree before heading out to Diddy's birthday shindig. All decked out in a black single-breasted tux, with exaggerated satin peak lapels. He and Travis Scott led the singing of "Happy Birthday" at the party. 

Lauren Ash

Superstore star Lauren Ash recently hosted the show's holiday karaoke party. She definitely nailed the theme in this cute black skater dress covered with snowmen, Santa Clauses, ornaments and other fun bits. Her peppermint bag was a pretty sweet detail.

Brook Lyn Hytes

The Queen of the north is giving us some major holiday party outfit and makeup inspiration. Brook Lyn Hytes is currently on the Klub Kids U.K tour. While on a stop in Leeds, she donned a gorgeous red strapless gown with beaded sweetheart neckline. A party dress in this colour is a must-have this season. The gown is perfectly accented by the lavender and deep violet cut-crease eye makeup and matte cherry red lips. 

Grace Mahary

Oh gracious me! Model Grace Mahary is ready for holiday festivities. She recently fêted with friends wearing a Burberry embellished faux leather mini dress over a cozy black turtleneck sweater — a good example of how to pair different textures during party season. Grace added a nice spot of colour with some asymmetrical rose quartz earrings. 

Antoni Porowski

Fab fiver Antoni Porowski partied it up with Taylor Swift and friends at her self proclaimed "Aggressive Holiday Party" for her 30th birthday. He got into the spirit of the season… just a touch! Ok so, yes, Antoni was wearing props from the photo booth, but I'm still taking note. That striped Santa decal vest would be perfect for Christmas dinner!

Ayesha Curry

Ayesha Curry took to Insta to show off the outfit she wore on Ellen last week — a flirty floral overlay Erdem dress. But the real showstopper were her Amina Muaddi black metal latex thigh high boots with sparkly brooch detail.
