We won't want to waste any of our emotional energy at the start of this week, when love-and-beauty-ruling Venus enters exacting Virgo. The charismatic planet is in its fall in the mutable earth sign, meaning it feels uncomfortable and has to work a bit harder to create harmony. To protect yourself against any anxiety this may bring up, focus on finding simple pleasures to soothe you that don't break the bank. This transit also encourages us to be more discerning with our finances, so we'll be in the mood to save rather than splurge over the next three weeks.

It will be important to slow down and be extra mindful of our words when chatty Mercury stations retrograde in social Libra on Friday. When the messenger planet moves in reverse, we have a tendency to trip up in our communications, whether it's in-person, or by phone, text or email — one reason why Mercury in retrograde is often demonized. But it also offers us a beautiful opportunity to reassess how we approach our interactions with others. When Mercury retrogrades through cardinal air sign Libra, it calls us to reflect on how we relate to those closest to us. If you feel like you're not getting through to someone during this time, try giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. You can revisit things when Mercury stations direct on October 2.

The moon waxes full in psychic Pisces on Saturday, opening our eyes to silver linings and helping us focus on circumstances within our control. The energy of this lunation is optimistic, encouraging us to move forward and celebrate life. Our imaginations will go into overdrive, allowing us to dream up exciting new possibilities.

A boost of self-confidence comes our way on Sunday, when the ego-ruling sun trines inventive Uranus. This transit provides a chance to break out of old routines, experiment and meet new people who inspire us. If you can tap into your unique point of view during this time, anything will feel within reach.

Here is your horoscope for the week of Monday, September 5, 2022.

Aries

When it comes to your relationships, there's no more beating around the bush, Aries. This week, you'll be ready to get specific about your emotional needs and take a more proactive approach to getting what you want. This may leave you feeling less lovey-dovey, but remember to still be soft with those you care about most during this time. If you notice that your schedule begins to feel off balance this weekend, take a breath and consider how you might be able to lighten your load. Open yourself up to new ways of working and getting things done — you may need to juggle less in order to focus on becoming your best self.

Taurus

Are you ready to get organized, Taurus? You'll feel a new sense of urgency this week, compelling you to work quickly and think on your feet. Just don't forget to remain diplomatic when dealing with friends and coworkers, as your new attitude could be perceived as cold or unforgiving. If your financial mind starts to slip toward the weekend and you find yourself tempted by retail therapy, consider how you can practice self-control in order to hold on to your cash for only the most urgent needs. Meanwhile, an inspiring discussion with family could help to redirect your thinking when it comes to your career. Stay open to the unexpected.

Gemini

Conserve your energy, Gemini. While your keen mind typically fires on all cylinders, you may find that your ability to process information begins to wane this week. Take this as a sign to prioritize rest and practice mindfulness over the next little while, and you'll be back to feeling like your old self in no time. On the home front, exciting changes may be afoot, and you're ready to adapt at a moment's notice. Just be sure to keep track of all the details so you don't leave anything — or anyone — in the dark. Then, on the weekend, you could come up with a brilliant way to capitalize on your talents in order to welcome more money into your life.

Cancer

If you're not already particular about your space, you're about to be, Cancer. This week, you'll be focused on finding the perfect place for everything in your home — and ensuring that items which no longer bring you joy find their way to a consignment or thrift store. While you'll also have plenty of energy to help out your family and pay ultra-close attention to your nearest and dearest, you may start to feel disconnected from your inner self by the weekend. Make an effort to reconnect with your inner voice by writing down your thoughts so you can reflect on them later and gain clarity.

Leo

What do you want from your career, Leo? Getting honest about your needs and desires will help you pinpoint time-wasting tasks and ultimately speed up your professional plans. If you're in the business of wheeling and dealing, consider pressing pause on any new financial agreements this week — unless you've already triple-checked the fine print. Meanwhile, if you're in a relationship, discussions about money could get you thinking about some exciting possibilities for your shared future. Single? Creating an automatic savings account could help you focus your vision as your head swims with delightful ideas that require extra cash.

Virgo

Trust your instincts, Virgo. As Venus moves through your sign over the next three weeks, your intuition will be heightened when it comes to managing your money, giving you a more complete understanding of your financial situation. If you're looking to grow your wealth, take this opportunity to review investment opportunities — and if something feels off, know that's your gut telling you to listen. Meanwhile, you could start to feel a brain fog come over you at the end of your work week. If this hazy feeling gets in the way of your productivity, focus on reducing your workload or simplifying your tasks so you can get everything done just the way you like.

Libra

Your accommodating nature may need to take the backseat this week, Libra. As your inner perfectionist gets to work, lean into this side of yourself and take it as an opportunity to organize and declutter your life. If people seem confused by your new brusque attitude, remember to flash that famous Libra charm when you need to. Meanwhile, if you've been feeling spiritually depleted of late, you may want to spend some time reconnecting with this part of yourself. Decide what that looks like to you — meditation, prayer or communing with nature can all be beautiful options.

Scorpio

Be clear about what you want from your relationships, Scorpio. If you're single and dating, you may notice that it's easier to open up about the qualities you desire in a partner this week. Keeping your standards high will help you to better establish your value and boundaries. Attached? You may also find it easier to be vocal about your needs. But if you do find yourself being a little too direct with your partner, break any tension by surprising them with a romantic evening or sweet gesture that shows your softer side. Meanwhile, if you have friends over this weekend, conversations surrounding work could spark some intriguing ideas. Dream big.

Sagittarius

How do you want to feel, Sagittarius? If you're looking to improve your outlook, you've got to start with your physical wellbeing. And luckily, with Venus in Virgo over the next three weeks, your attention will be laser-focused on your health. It's a brilliant opportunity to find a new wellness regimen that suits your schedule. Just try not to overdo anything or you could get turned off by the routine altogether. If expressing your emotions feels more difficult starting Friday, trust that these roadblocks are a natural part of the process — if we didn't face them, we'd never change. Keep this in mind as you search for the right words when connecting with loved ones.

Capricorn

Your drive to succeed is undeniable, Capricorn. Anything you set your mind to, you can accomplish. This Monday will mark the beginning of a three-week flow state in your career zone, giving you the chance to conquer your goals quickly. Don't overlook how your people skills may factor into the equation — you'll need to remember your social graces in order to get things done. But while your work thrives, your body could suffer if you ignore your physical health. Treat yourself to a little extra TLC during these three weeks to prevent burnout and anxiety. If you can avoid them, you'll be sitting pretty.

Aquarius

What would you like to change about your space, Aquarius? You're in a prime position to make key decisions about your home as Venus moves through Virgo over the next three weeks. Use it as an opportunity to identify flaws and scope out DIY solutions. Just be sure to check in with anyone else you may live with before you break out your wallet, paintbrushes or tools. When it comes to relationships, single water-bearers may find themselves drawn to others interested in the unknown or macabre during this time. If you're attached, a discussion with your partner could reveal illuminating information about your shared resources.

Pisces

Have you been feeling a bit thrown lately, Pisces? Pick yourself up and invest in healing solitude over the next few weeks. As you spend some much-needed time alone, your relationships may move to the forefront of your mind, and you could find yourself starting to pick them apart. Try to be kinder to yourself and step out of your own perspective as you attempt to understand where others are coming from. Meanwhile, you'll have a chance to celebrate your natural sense of creativity, artistry and wonder on the weekend. Remember: your talents shine brightly, and you're an inspiration to more people than you know.
