HOLLYWOOD, CA—Things are moving ahead quickly on the new Addams Family reboot.

Although murmurs have been around for quite a while of a script in development, producers released the first cast photo yesterday, featuring the group behind a desk in the White House, presumably for some sort of gimmick episode.

The cast includes some predictable choices along with a few surprises. The picture, tweeted out by an executive producer, did not have casting choices attached, but it does feature Donald Trump (Gomez) who was chosen for the part in a very controversial decision last November. He is joined by Ted Nugent, who has been confirmed for the part of Lurch, as well as by Kid Rock, presumably playing Lurch's twin brother, and Sarah Palin, presumably playing some sort of female Lurch.

As the line-up is expected to only feature actors who supported the studio's casting of Trump as the lead, options are scarce. To fill out the cast, Variety has speculated on potentials such as Kirstie Alley (Morticia), Jon Voight (Uncle Fester), Stephen Baldwin (Lurch's father), Ivanka Trump (Wednesday), Gary Busey (Lurch's grandfather) Jared Kushner (Pugsley), and Sia (not a Trump supporter nor a professional television actor, but considered a shoo-in for Cousin Itt, beating out the entire cast of Duck Dynasty).

The show is expected to come to screens this fall, though it still has not found a network willing to take on a show that is part-horror, part-comedy, but mainly so much horror.
