GOP slams ego of 'Obamacare', introduces 'World's Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2017'
WASHINGTON, D.C.—After years of Republicans criticizing Barack Obama for his hubristic belief that he could provide safe and affordable for the entire nation that had elected him to do things just like that, they have tabled something much more humble and modest, entitled the "World's Greatest Health Plan of 2017."

This is not a joke. If we may break the fourth wall for but a moment, we realize that this is a website you visit to get a laugh out of some extremely humorous fiction. The name of the proposed healthcare bill above, however, is not fiction at all. Texas representative Peter Sessions literally table a bill titled "World's Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2017," aka House Republican Bill 1275. No, honestly, you can look it up. We'll wait.
See?
Still, the name "Obamacare" was ludicrous and problematic. One could absolutely see the affront that could and should rightly be caused by Barack Obama choosing to name something he worked on for many years by many people "Obamacare." After himself! The sheer arrogance and outright narcissism of choosing to label it—oh, what's that? Oh. The Republicans started calling it that first? But they—
But it—
Hm. Ah. Well then.
B-but, you could imagine if he had, right? Oh boy.
Oh. Boy.
