With production underway in Toronto, CBC and Counterfeit Pictures have announced the cast of new workplace comedy series One More Time.

The show is the brainchild of stand-up comedian D.J. Demers (you've seen him on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and on his own comedy specials), and showrunner Jessie Gabe, known for popular series such as Workin' Moms and Mr. D.

One More Time stars D.J. Demers as the hard-of-hearing manager of a used sporting goods store. His character, a fictional version of himself also named D.J., is all about positivity and community.

But, let's just say running a small used sporting goods store with a bunch of lively employees isn't exactly a walk in the park.

Joining D.J. on screen are Geri Hall (Astrid and Lilly Save the World, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), playing the store's assistant manager, Cynthia; Daniel Beirne (Ginny & Georgia, Workin' Moms) as the always chill 'lifer' Wayne; Elise Bauman (Workin' Moms, Carmilla) as store employee/Olympian, Jen. You'll also see newcomer Seran Sathiyaseelan as the bright-eyed part-timer Keeran, and Dayton Sinkia (Letterkenny, The Strain) as security guard, Chris.

In addition, in recurring roles are Nadine Bhabha (Letterkenny, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Chris Robinson (The Amazing Gayl Pile, The Boys), Maddy Foley (The Boys, Step Sisters), and Marito Lopez (Gary and His Demons).

Look for One More Time this winter on CBC and CBC Gem.
