Get your Canada Reads 2024 poster

Canada Reads 2024 is coming, and if you'd like a poster to tell everyone you know about this year's debates, CBC Books has you covered!

The debates will take place March 4-7, 2024.

They will be hosted by Ali Hassan and will be live at 10:05 a.m. ET. You can stream the debates live or catch them on CBC Radio, CBC Listen, CBC Gem, YouTube or CBC TV. Here are all the times and places you can tune in.

The 2024 contenders are:

• Athlete and CBC Sports contributor Dallas Soonias champions Bad Cree by Jessica Johns
• Former Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi champions Denison Avenue by Christina Wong & Daniel Innes
• Fashion influencer Mirian Njoh champions Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune
• Actor Kudakwashe Rutendo champions Shut Up You're Pretty by Téa Mutonji
• Author Heather O'Neill champions The Future by Catherine Leroux, translated by Susan Ouriou

CBC Books has launched a Facebook group for those who want to read the Canada Reads 2024 books together. You can join the conversation here.

Commotion is proud to announce the most highly anticipated reading list of the year. Elamin will reveal the five Canadian celebrities and the five books they'll be championing, and give each panelist a thirty second preview of what's to come.
