Thank You Internet...for giving us this Dave Chappelle video from 1993

The comic presented at the Canadian Screen Awards, which is all the excuse we need to post this clip. This week's link round-up is all about the CSAs.

The comic presented at the Canadian Screen Awards, which is all the excuse we need to post this clip.

The Canadian Screen Awards aired Sunday on CBC, and Phil Leung definitely got the memo. In every episode of Exhibitionists, Phil counts down the best things he's discovered online that week, but this time, all search results include the CSAs. From Howie Mandel's browser history to your eyeballs, check out this week's round-up of links.

Binge on Baroness Von Sketch Show

It's one of Phil's favourite series, and the Canadian Screen Awards voters are right there with him. CBC's Baroness von Sketch Show nabbed some early CSA wins — including the official title of best sketch comedy series of the year. This calls for a celebration, and by celebration, we mean binge session. Press play on this YouTube playlist, and don't stop until Season 2 premieres.

Why don't you take the train? This one, specifically

Fun fact: At this year's CSAs, CBC had a record-breaking 193 nominations. We're not bragging so much as we're basically contractually obligated to remind you. But at 193 nods, it's some kind of endorsement when your show squeezes onto Phil's Top 5. Among his picks? This nominated short doc called Tshiuetin. A film about a First Nations-owned railway — the only one of its kind — it takes you on a journey through Northern Quebec and Labrador. The scenery is stunning, even in black and white.

We interrupt this list with Interrupt This Program

One more of those 193 nominations for you, and then we'll lay off. Honest. If you're a regular CBC Arts visitor, you should be familiar with CSA-nominated series Interrupt This Program, but consider this a friendly reminder that you can revisit Athens, Medellin, Kiev or any of the international art scenes featured on the show anytime. Full episodes can always be found on the site, but here's a clip from last week's trip to Manila.

Jason Momoa makes everything good, even an 8-minute commercial for pants

Jason Momoa: CSA nominee, Dothraki warlord, family man...pants salesman. The actor was nominated for his starring role on Frontier, but we'll eat a raw horse heart if there aren't more people familiar with this particular video. A touching portrait of the actor and his young family, it went viral a few months back. Sure, it was sponsored by some company that makes canvas work-wear. But as per Phil, the most memorable thing about it isn't the pants. It's the fact it reveals the softer side of the Aquaman.

Watch this comedy video from 1993...because Dave Chappelle

It's the best — and strangest — thing about this year's CSA broadcast: Dave Chappelle was at the show. The comedian presented the Just for Laughs Icon Award, and that's enough of an excuse to include one of Phil's favourite stand-up routines on this list. Taped in Montreal 24 years ago, we tracked it down on YouTube. Thank you internet, indeed.
