How to accidentally become a singer: Step one, get your heart broken

Montreal musician Robert Robert found his voice when he lost his heart, and it's resulted in a new EP.

Robert Robert would not have described himself as a singer, nor did he even have the desire to, after ten years of creating and producing music. But that's no longer the case. After he felt the pain of wanting to be with somebody he couldn't be with, he suddenly felt like he needed to write everything down and share it with his audience.

Robert Robert didn't make a thing of it. Lots of people still don't know that it's him singing on his heartsick track "Longbeach." But now that he's an accidental singer, he's stuck with it — he just released his new EP, Welcome to Fine Town.
