Hello Spring! Gurdeep Pandher plants seeds of positivity with some Bhangra
It may still be cold where you are, or you may still be dancing on a frozen lake, but spring is on its way
Snow is disappearing, ice is melting, animals are waking up and seasonal allergies are back with a vengeance. It can only mean one thing: spring is here!
But with many Canadians still in lockdown, it may not feel like the new beginning we were all hoping for. So, to help that spring joy bloom, Gurdeep Pandher is here with a new dance video celebrating the start of the season.
"Through my videos I would like to motivate people that despite all those lockdowns, despite all those restrictions, we can go to an open space in nature and we can dance," shares Pandher. "I want to give people a message that hey, yes, we are going through this for a long time, and this is very challenging for all of us, it's not easy, but still let's continue doing our part. Let's continue following all those protocols which are necessary and we can still find joy, we can still find happiness, we can still find positivity."
Dancing on Kathleen Lake in Yukon's Kluane National Park and Reserve, Pandher hopes that his Bhangra moves will also inspire others to share positive vibes. "I hope that people will make the most of the spring season and they will spread smiles, positivity and inclusivity around. And they will smile with the new flowers; they will smile with the new plants, and with the new colours in nature."
