Inside the very colourful life of Toronto textile artist Roxanne Ignatius

Roxanne Ignatius describes herself as a textile artist and "lover of colourful things" and you can see why when you see her work in this video.

She's made everything from a giant fabric vagina to home-made robot costumes

When indie musician Maylee Todd needed an unusual way to open her show, Toronto-based textile and multi-media artist Roxanne Ignatius didn't disappoint. She designed a giant fabric vagina as a way into the concert hall. Now the artist, a self-described "lover of colourful things," has had her own show, appropriately at a gallery in Toronto called Weird Things.

This short documentary produced by CBC's Stephanie Matteis and directed by Marco Libretti takes viewers into the very colourful life of Roxanne Ignatius.
