There's something outspoken Montreal artist Miss Me hasn't seen enough of in movies, the media, television: powerful women. So she's taken her own formidable representations of women to the streets. She pastes them like icons on the city's walls — sometimes overtly sexual, partially clad, masked and defiant; sometimes women from the history of music, stoic and inspiring. What they all have in common is that they're extremely hard to miss.

In this video produced by Pablo Aravena for CBC Arts, Miss Me takes you on a trip from the studio to the street, and lets you in on why she's compelled to make this work.
