One of the world’s most recognized and prolific industrial designers, Karim Rashid is the man behind Umbra’s “Oh” chair and “Garbo” waste can, the Bobble water bottle and over 3000 other designs currently in production. He’s known for his minimalist aesthetic, and use of curves and bright colours in his work, but it may come as a surprise to many, that Karim Rashid hates Christmas. We caught up with Karim while in town for the annual DesignThinkers Conference, hosted by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, and innocently asked about his thoughts on the holiday season… Check out his response in this segment from Exhibitionists!

We caught up with Rashid while he was in Toronto for the annual DesignThinkers Conference, hosted by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, and innocently asked about his thoughts on the holiday season.
