Imagine sharing a role with Beyoncé? We asked the 'Frankie Drake' actress to give advice to the new Nala.

Chantel Riley is a Canadian-Jamaican singer, songwriter and actress. She made her Broadway debut in 2012 playing Simba's adorable love interest Nala in Disney's The Lion King. And after spending four years bringing the beloved character to life, she's back in Toronto to play Trudy in Frankie Drake Mysteries, the new 1920s-themed show about a couple of kickass female detectives.

But meanwhile in Hollywood, there's a new Nala in town: none other than Beyoncé. The queen herself will star in the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau and set for release in 2019. And although we know Beyoncé is a survivor and will indeed keep on surviving, we thought we'd have Riley hijack our "Words for a Young Artist" video format to give some humble advice to the Queen B on how to prepare for her upcoming role.

Walt Disney Studios has confirmed that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has joined the cast of a live-action remake of the Lion King in the role of Nala. (Larry Busacca/Getty Images)
