DJs Skratch Bastid and Jazzy Jeff spent a few days in Chile recently to judge the Red Bull Thre3Style competition. And they took a little time off to check out some vinyl.

While filmmaker Pablo Aravena was in Chile working on a documentary about street art, he got the chance to meet up with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Canada's own Skratch Bastid to dig for records at the legendary Franklin Market in Santiago de Chile.

The pair were in town to judge the Red Bull Thre3Style world DJ championships, but they ducked out of the fray for a while to buy some vinyl and talk music while strolling the streets of Chile's capital city with Aravena and his camera. The result is the above video — which might just make you want to hop on the next plane their way. As Skratch Bastid puts it: "You never know what kind of remnants of DJ history you'll find in the crates."

You can see Skratch Bastid at TIMEKODE in Ottawa on February 25DJ Jazzy Jeff is performing the same night...if you so happen to be in Charlotte, North Carolina.
