Crash Gallery artist Jarett Sitter draws 'misunderstood monsters'

Calgary illustrator and animated Jarett Sitter's work explores themes of "the misunderstood monster, as well as exploration and nature." Jarett does a lot of music video work these days, notably for "The Stand" by Mother Mother, which was nominated for the video of the year Juno Award in 2012.

Jarett will be one of three artists competing in the Season 2 premiere of Crash Gallery. He'll be set against the clock and against the other artists in two art challenges Sunday, February 5th at 9:30pm (10pm NT). Watch in on CBC TV and online.

Crash Gallery is back for a second season starting Feb. 5 at 9:30pm on CBC TV. In each episode, three talented artists of various disciplines go head-to-head against each other in a real-time creative arena, giving the audience a front row seat to the creative process.
