Kendrick Lamar's viral diss track Not Like Us is probably the defining song of his ongoing feud with Drake. To call it a hit is an understatement.

When Lamar recently took the stage in Los Angeles on Juneteenth, he played Not Like Us a total of five times. Then, on July 4, he found a way to extend the moment the song is having by releasing a music video.

Today on Commotion, Vibe 105 FM program director Mastermind and culture critic Matt Amha join Elamin Abdelmahmoud to break downn why this song is so resonant, why Lamar's argument has hit a nerve, and how Not Like Us digs into some deep-rooted tensions between Canada and the United States.
