Fawzia Mirza (she/they) is a queer, South Asian Muslim writer/director. She is an SFFILM Rainin Grantee, a White House Champion of Change in Asian American Art & Storytelling, a Tribeca Film Institute All-Access alum, a "Yes, And Laughter Lab" Winner, an Islamic Scholarship Fund Winner, a TIFF Writers' Studio and TIFF Filmmaker Lab alum.
