The Campos family found a safe haven in Canada after immigrating from Venezuela

Carlos Campos with wife Lisbeth J. Bracho and son Carlos Eduardo Campos Bracho. Born in Venezuela they now live in Montreal. He became a Canadian citizen on October 14, 2016 in Montreal. For Carlos, the top priority was the safety and wellbeing of his kids.

"We were robbed many times [back in Venezuela]. Three, four, five times. The last one was when my two kids were in our home. We were out and they were alone. When they opened the door [the thieves] came in the house and they found that situation. [Our kids] were bound up together."

That made a break in our life and we really decided to make a change.
